How to Properly Care for and Store Beer Garden Table Sets

Care Tips for Your Folding Furniture: Keep Your Sets Looking Great for Longer

First things first: wood is a natural material, so it expands and contracts over time. That is why it is especially important to follow the care instructions for your beer garden set. Even with high-quality materials and manufacturing processes, exposure to rain, cold, moisture, sunlight, and UV rays can leave marks over time and lead to cracks, scratches, or warping.

To keep your beer garden set looking good and functioning well for years to come, we recommend regular care when used outdoors and dry storage when not in use. Special protective covers provide added protection against UV rays, water, and pollen. In some cases, this may even allow the sets to remain outdoors all year round. Without a cover, however, they are left unprotected against weather and environmental exposure, which can significantly reduce their lifespan.

Tip 1: Do Not Leave Your Set in Direct Sunlight

You should never leave your set in direct sunlight, especially not for extended periods. Wood is a natural material, and extreme temperature fluctuations can create stress in the wood and cause surface cracks.

Tip 2: Angle the Set When It Rains

When it rains, position your set at an angle so water can run off the surface. After the rain, make sure all water is removed and dry the set thoroughly. Our beer garden sets are suitable for outdoor use, but they should not be exposed to constant moisture and weathering over long periods.

Tip 3: Clean the Surfaces

If the surfaces get dirty, simply wipe them down with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning product. Pollen, tree sap, leaves, and similar debris can also damage the surface and should be removed. Avoid using abrasive creams or harsh cleaning agents, as these can damage the sealed finish.

Tip 4: Stack Beer Garden Table Sets Properly

When stacking your sets, make sure the underside of the tabletop is facing down. This helps prevent the wood from absorbing moisture and protects it from blistering or discoloration caused by trapped water.
